EnviroTrac’s construction-related activities sometimes result in the generation of non-hazardous and hazardous wastes that must be managed in accordance with regulatory statutes, approvals and permits and other requirements. Based on the scope of work and magnitude of the project the quantities
of this material can sometimes be managed with a single 55-gallon drum or may require the use of multiple rail cars. EnviroTrac is experienced with “live loading” of material in cases where temporary storage is not feasible or in establishing temporary storage through the use of drums and other approved containers, and by stockpiling onsite. EnviroTrac’s services include properly establishing and maintaining these temporary facilities and collecting media samples for waste profiling as required by disposal facilities. Where possible, EnviroTrac endeavors to recycle materials for beneficial reuse. For example, excavated/demolished concrete can be crushed and used for backfilling and in paving applications. All wastes generated by EnviroTrac at work sites are transported by licensed haulers to approved disposal facilities under proper chain of custody (COC) and manifesting procedures.
