TREATMENT SYSTEM DESIGN, INSTALLATION, O&M & TROUBLESHOOTING
EnviroTrac has designed, fabricated, installed and operated hundreds of contaminant, recovery and treatment systems. These systems range from simple skid/trailer mounted portable units to large and technically complex building-installed and sea-container based systems utilizing state of the art automation and process control and optimization functionalities. EnviroTrac utilizes information and data gathered during site investigation and assessment phases, feasibility studies and pilot/bench scale testing to design full-scale remediation systems that meet regulatory criteria, building codes, and achieve project goals efficiently. The size, complexity and cost of these systems is determined during a rigorous design process utilizing site data and input from pertinent parties.

Treatment System In cases where a formal design is necessary by the overseeing regulatory agency, EnviroTrac will develop a remedial design that includes results of investigatory work conducted at the site, applicable standards, criteria and guidance, a description of remedial actions and technologies to be implemented, maps showing pertinent information, a quality assurance plan, a list of required permits and an outline of operation and maintenance requirements. This work typically includes the preparation of detailed specifications and design drawings for construction, fabrication, permitting, regulatory approval, and bidding. We also inspect and evaluate existing remedial systems to prepare recommendations concerning system optimization and over all efficiency.

If needed, a remedial action will also be developed that typically includes information regarding construction facilities, site monitoring to be conducted during construction regarding erosion, stormwater, air monitoring and dust and odor control, health and safety procedures, confirmation sampling and site restoration procedures, system dismantling procedures, cost estimates and scheduling information, requirements for any institutional controls required and an operation and management plan.

EnviroTrac’s extensive workshops are utilized by staff engineers, mechanics and technicians to fabricate and test systems ranging in size and complexity from small to large scale prior to shipment to sites. Our experience has found that this approach results in better schedule and quality control and greatly reduced on-site construction and shakedown testing time required for completing system installation and initiating full-time operation.

In addition to designing, building and installing new treatment facilities, EnviroTrac’s engineers are expert in troubleshooting, conducting system diagnostics, repairing and upgrading existing systems built by others.
