A Safety Conscious Environmental Consulting Firm
The management of EnviroTrac demands that the health and safety of each employee be protected. It is a continuing, sincere desire of EnviroTrac to implement positive and effective safety programs with the objective that every unsafe act, practice, or condition is detected and corrected in a timely manner. Our success has always been dependent on the safe work practices of our employees.

Our health and safety practices are aimed at providing a safe working environment for our employees, promoting safe work practices, and ensuring appropriate health monitoring for employees engaged in hazardous work. We are proud of our commitment to safety with our extensive safety policy and program that addresses the need for working within the safety parameters specified and expected by our customers. Our policy of “Do Work Safely or Don’t Do It” is reflected in our past performance history.

Comprehensive Company Safety Policy and Procedures Manual
EnviroTrac has a comprehensive and formal written health and safety policy, which is maintained, updated and annually reviewed. All EnviroTrac personnel have access to this manual at all times and are expected to be familiar with it, as the policy pertains to their own job responsibilities as well as general company functions. For example, topics ranging from hazard communication, personal protective devices for field personnel, driver and emergency medical training requirements, confined space entry training, electrical lockout tag-out procedures, excavations and monitoring procedures are all included in the policy manual to name a few.

Annual Safety Policy Review and Update
Every calendar year EnviroTrac holds an annual safety review and update meeting; attendance of all field personnel is required. At this time any revisions, improvements or additions to the safety program are introduced and discussed and any updated safety program manual pages are distributed. Any changes in OSHA policies are handled at this time. This is also the time when the annual fire extinguisher inspection is scheduled. Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry (29 CFR Parts 1910 and 1926), promulgated by OSHA, are utilized as the reference text for this training. All participants who successfully complete the course receive OSHA certification.

Confined Space Entry Training
This specialized training is required for all EnviroTrac personnel performing fieldwork that would require entering either a permit or non-permit required confined space, such as manholes, tanks or tunnels for example. Training includes a classroom presentation, test and an actual entry using non-entry retrieval equipment.

American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Training
Field personnel maintain current certifications in Adult CPR and First Aid. Training is available at the local chapter of the American Red Cross as well as on site at our offices approximately two times per year for renewing certifications. All training costs are fully covered by EnviroTrac to encourage 100% compliance with our safety policy.

Personal Protective Devices and Safety Equipment
In conformance with our safety policy, EnviroTrac provides all necessary personal protective devices and safety equipment. Personal protective devices, such as proper work shoes, safety glasses and safety vests are required to be worn by all personnel during the time they are working in the field.
