Q. Where were you before you came to EnviroTrac?
A. While in college I worked as an electrician’s helper in the family business. I received my bachelor’s degree from Southampton College, LIU, a year before they decided to close the doors due to financial issues. EnviroTrac was my first job out of college.
Q. How long have you been here?
A. I have worked for EnviroTrac for five years.
Q. What do you do here?
A. I am a Senior Project Scientist on one of our major oil accounts. I schedule field work such as groundwater sampling, remediation system installation, well installation and UST excavations and coordinate with subcontractors. I prepare and submit reports to our client and the State. I assist in the training of new hires on technical and health & safety procedures.
Q. What are some of the things that you like about ET?
A. I really enjoy working at EnviroTrac because of the casual environment that exists inside of the office. All of my coworkers are extremely friendly and always available to help. One of the unique things about the NY office is the Thursday afternoon yoga class.
Q. Any hobbies, interests or causes?
A. I have followed a vegetarian diet for years, but recently adopted a vegan diet that was brought on by a trip to a farm animal sanctuary. Since then one of my new hobbies has been trying to bake vegan desserts. Other hobbies include mountain biking, practicing yoga, hiking, ceramics.
