Q. Where were you before you came to EnviroTrac (school/prior work experience)?
A. I worked on an EPA assessment and remediation contract for almost 5 years which required me to work in Level C and B PPE initially. My last 2 years there consisted of quite a bit of technical writing in the form of Hazard Ranking System packages and I actually proposed a few high priority sites to the EPA Region I National Priorities List.
Q. How long have you been here?
A. As of July 31 this year, I will have been with EnviroTrac for 10 years.
Q. What do you do here?
A. Senior Accountant…kidding. I am a Senior Project Manager and the regional Program Manager for a major petroleum client. I like to think that I would do anything that helps move any given project along.
Q. Any hobbies, interests or causes?
A. I like taking my son fresh water fishing whenever we get the chance to go.
Q. Do you have a motto or favorite quote?
A. “Full steam ahead!” and “It is what it is…”
Q. Most influential person in your life, or someone that you really admire – real or fictional?
A. I would have to say my parents were the most influential people in my life. My Dad taught me a lot about hard work and perseverance and my Mom taught me to treat everyone with respect, among many other things.
Q. What’s the key to your success at EnviroTrac?
A. Longevity!
Q. What was your very first job?
A. I delivered the Boston Globe 7 mornings a week for 4 years starting when I was 10 years old and have been working ever since.
Q. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
A. My two children.
Q. And finally, just for you – do you get asked often if you are related to the Kennedy’s?
A. I do actually! My answer is always yes, in some way or another, I am sure all the Kennedy’s from Ireland are related somehow. I just wish I had all the money and the compound in Hyannisport that THE Massachusetts Kennedy’s have!!
