Employee Highlight
Dave R.

Q. Where were you before you came to EnviroTrac (school/prior work experience)?
A. I was previously employed at Handex for 19.5 years designing and installing remediation systems. It was a natural transition to join the EnviroTrac team since several Handex employees had already migrated over and we all worked well together.

Q. How long have you been here?
A. I have worked at EnviroTrac for five years.

Q. Any hobbies, interests or causes?
A. One of my hobbies is woodworking to create pieces of custom furniture. I recently donated a porch swing made out of Sapele lumber to the Monmouth Museum for a fundraiser. I also enjoy riding my Harley when I have a chance.

Q. Most influential person in your life, or someone that you really admire – real or fictional?
A. I guess I would have to say my parents, if it weren’t for them I wouldn’t be who I am today.

Q. What was your best idea ever?
A. My wife says marrying her.

Q. What’s the key to your success at EnviroTrac?
A. No job is too big, no task is too small. I try to have a positive outlook and focus on the big picture while we all work together.

Q. What was your very first job?
A. I grew up in the Catskills and if you wanted spending money you had to earn it. A friend of mine and I started mowing lawns in our neighborhood when we were in junior high school. With the money I earned, I bought a 10 speed bicycle which was the first in the neighborhood.

Q. What is your idea of perfect happiness?
A. Financial security along with good health to allow my wife and I to travel and enjoy life.

Q. Where would you most like to live?
A. I would like to live in Sedona, Arizona because it is so different from the east coast. Maybe EnviroTrac will open an office there one day.
