Core Values – Keeping it Simple
Two years ago during a corporate team brainstorming session the below four Core Values were born.
- We exist to protect our environment.
- Provide outstanding quality and value to our clients.
- People, working safely as a team, are our strength.
- Profit and growth as a means to make all the above values possible.
Big problem, my staff, managers and even myself had difficulties in reciting these value word for word. If one can’t recite your own Core values then what is the sense of having them in the first place? Because everyone else has them? It’s politically correct similar to “being Green”? Well, it was time to get back to my roots and belief that KISS – Keep it Simple Stupid is the solution to most problems; therefore, EnviroTrac’s Core Values have been reborn. These simplified Core Values are to the point, strong and capture who we are, what we do and why we do it.
