The Fifth Annual Keith Milano Memorial Golf outing was held on Monday September 14th at the Island Hills Golf Club. Over $73,000 in profits were raised and donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), for the Keith Milano Memorial Fund. In a year when most charities could not expect to raise as much as they had last year, we were again able to surpass our profits from the previous year – which could not have been done without the support of all who came to play golf, or to dinner, donated money or prizes for the raffle and auction, volunteered their time, or were one of our many sponsors. It is with thanks to all of them that we were able to reach such a lofty goal, which brings the total for the outing’s five years to around $293,000. Some of the profits have already gone to fund the making of a film aimed at high school students called “More Than Sad”.
